15th Winner for Sebring

 In 2013

Kembla – The Peter Moody trained colt Stamina became the latest winner for Sebring when he resumed from a spell to score a strong finishing win at Kembla on Tuesday over 1300 metres.

Placed once from his three previous runs before spelling, Stamina has obviously returned from the break a stronger horse.

“He just wasn’t an early two year-old and needed that bit of time and a chance to get over a bit more ground,” said stable foreman Claire Cunningham.

Stamina was a $100,000 Inglis Easter purchase for his trainer from the draft of Rheinwood Pastoral and is the fourth winner from four foals to race from stakes-placed Sky Risks (FR).

Stamina is the 15th winner for Sebring, who is the leading Australian First Season Sire by winners and stands at a fee of $38,500.
