$90,000 for Your Song Weanling

 In 2015

The first weanlings by Fastnet Rock’s Group I winning son Your Song made their debut at the 2015 Magic Millions National Weanling Sale this week on the Gold Coast with a colt from South Terrace fetching $90,000 for South Australian based Kambula Stud.

He was bought by Victorian based Phoenix Broodmare Farm and is a half-brother to two winners from a full sister to stakes-winner Red Labelle, the dam of stakes-winners Strawberry Field and Pelizotti.

Another good sale for Your Song was Edinglassie Stud’s colt from Shannon Wood that made $80,000 to the bid of New Zealand buyer Regal Farm.

The colt is a half-brother to Group I placed Miss Lily Rose and Group III placed Road to Athens, his dam Shannon Wood, an unraced half-sister to dual Group I winner Sharscay.

Baramul Stud enjoyed a pleasing result with their Your Song colt from Gone Wild that made $72,500 to the bid of Magic Millions as agent and is a half-brother to stakes-placed Tikitour.

A brilliant weight-for-age Group I winning sprinter, Your Song stands his second season at a fee of $22,000.
