Another Stakes Win for Rebelson

 In 2012

Perth – Progressive Snippetson three year-old Rebelson scored his second Black Type victory this preparation when taking out the Listed WATC Aquanita Stakes at Ascot in Perth on Saturday.

The Darren McAuliffe trained gelding settled up on the pace and relished the 1800 metres, striding away at the finish to win by a length and a half in dominant style.

Retained to race by his breeders, Rebelson has the overall record of five wins from 10 starts with prizemoney of $196,600 and looks to have a very bright future.

Rebelson is the first foal of unraced Falbrav (IRE) mare Rebel Sister, whose dam Sister Theresa is a half-sister to multiple Group I winner Savannah Success, the dam of Cox Plate winner and successful sire Savabeel.

Rebelson is one of five stakes-winners for Widden Stud based Snippetson, who stands at a fee of $11,000.
