Bonaria Wins Again

Melbourne – 28 July, 2012

Promising two year-old Planet Voyage wasn’t the only Widden Stud graduate to salute at Caulfield on Saturday.

Blue-blooded Redoute’s Choice filly Bonaria was foaled and raised at Widden Stud for her owner breeders Robert and Deborah Anderson and provided a great result for them when she posted her second straight metropolitan win when taking out the open fillies event over 1400 metres.

The Pat Hyland trained three year-old was impressive when scoring at the same venue two weeks ago and ran right up to that form, scooting clear to win again by two and three-quarter lengths.

Her overall record now reads three wins and six placings from 13 starts with prizemoney of $116,964.

Bred and retained to race by Mr and Mrs Anderson, Bonaria is a half-sister to Group III winners Time Out and Legally Bay being one of six winners from the good producing Last Tycoon (IRE) mare Decidity, who was covered last spring by Stratum.
