Debut Juvenile Winner for Sebring

David Hayes and Tom Dabernig lead the list of nominators with 23 contenders left in the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes to be run on February 27 after second declarations and it was one of those youngsters that saluted on debut at Pakenham on Thursday.

Two year-old Sebring colt Seaburge found the line strongly to win the 1200 metre maiden by the best part of a length.

A $220,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Widden Stud draft for Bahen Bloodstock/ Lindsay Park Racing, Seaburge is the first winner for Polska, a placed Encosta de Lago daughter of Group I winner La Volta.

Widden Stud sold a full sister to Seaburge at the Magic Millions this year for $100,000 to McEvoy Mitchell Racing.

Seaburge is the fourth juvenile winner this season for Sebring, who is up running sixth on the Australian General Sires List this season with progeny earnings topping $4.3 millon.
