Fifth Winner for Sebring

 In 2012

Sunshine Coast – Widden Stud’s Golden Slipper winner Sebring continues to set the pace in the first season sires division reeling off his fifth individual first crop winner at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.

Prepared at Eagle Farm by Robert Heathcote, She’s a Danica was sent out favourite for the 1000 metre juvenile maiden and turned in a professional effort to travel up on the pace and then kick clear to win by a length and a quarter.

She’s a Danica was bred by Luskin Park and partners, but was passed in shy of her $140,000 reserve at the 2012 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale before being offered again at the Magic Millions National Sale where she also passed in, but was later sold with Paul Whelan of Luskin Park retaining a share.

She’s a Danica is the second foal and first winner for Rockin Babe, an unraced sibling by Rock of Gibraltar (IRE) to Group winners Just Dancing, Tahni Girl and Hidden Dragon from former Champion Kiwi juvenile Ballroom Babe.

She’s a Danica is another winner for Sebring, who is the leading Australian First Season Sire by winners and earnings, the son of More Than Ready (USA) poised to make a big impact at the 2013 Magic Millions where 26 of his stock will be offered.
