Nicconi Posted Favourite
Widden Stud’s exciting young stallion Niconi is a $3.50 favourite at Sportingbet to be the most successful first season sire of the 2013-2014 season by individual winners.
Nicconi has just edged out Yarraman Park’s I Am Invincible, which is a $4 second favourite at Sportingbet.
“Nicconi’s foals were very popular at the sales and early reports from trainers suggest they are all progressing well,” Sportingbet Australia spokesman Andrew Brown said.
Nicconi has 119 foals on the ground and his yearlings sold exceptionally well earlier this year.
Widden Stud dominated this sector last year with Northern Meteor and Sebring fighting out the finish right down to the wire.
