Widden Stud Celebrate a Successful Inglis Easter

 In 2013

The 2013 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale provided great results for Widden Stud with 17 yearlings sold in Session I for $3.3 million followed by a further eight for $616,000 in Session II.
Top seller for Widden was a stunning More Than Ready (USA) colt from stakes-winning Redoute’s Choice mare Provence that made $700,000 to the bid of Shadwell Australia.
A three-quarter sister to Group I HK International Sprint winner Inspiration, Provence has been a terrific producer to date leaving two foals to race both winners led by HK Group II winner Admiration, who was sold by Widden at this sale in 2009 for $625,000.
Highest priced filly sold by Widden was the Encosta de Lago half-sister to Group winners Sportsman, Prisoner of Love, Hoystar and stakes-winner King of Prussia from star producer Professionelle.
The blue-blooded filly went to Boomer Bloodstock for $350,000.
We congratulate all successful purchasers and wish them the best of luck in the future.
