Winning Debut for Widden Graduate

 In 2015

A $425,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Tom Magnier from the Widden Stud draft, three year-old Lonhro gelding World Order opened his career with an easy debut victory at Gosford on Tuesday.

He started his racing career with Peter and Paul Snowden before being switched to Kris Lees and has blossomed in recent months.

Sent out favourite for the 1200 metre maiden following encouraging trials at Cessnock and Gosford, World Order lived up to expectation when striding away to win by two lengths.

A half-brother to Group III placed The Fairy’s Kiss, World Order was bred by Bill Frost and foaled and raised at Widden Stud.

He is the third winner for Group II winner Ballet Society, who was raced with much success by Mr Frost and his family.

Ballet Society has no yearling for the sales in 2016, but does have a lovely colt foal by Zoustar.
