Widden Stud’s champion sire Zoustar clocked up his 100th Australian winner of the season on Wednesday and has a small selection of quality yearlings to be offered at Inglis Classic.

Four year-old gelding Nashira posted his second win from nine starts when saluting at Eagle Farm for the O’Dea/ Hoysted stable over 1200m.

Zoustar’s 100 winners have earned $8.8million and include five stakes-winners headed by Group I winner Zougotcha, plus Kiku, North Star Lass, Platinum Jubilee and The Astrologist.

Zoustar has eight yearlings for Inglis Classic that include a filly offered by Widden Stud that comes from the family of his champion filly Sunlight.

Zoustar filly from Soul Star.

Lot 91 is the first foal of speedy metro winner Soul Star, whose stakes-placed dam Brave Soul is a half-sister to Group III winning blue hen Solar Charged, the dam of $6.5million earning triple Group I winner Sunlight and Group III winner Sisstar.

The last two yearlings from Solar Charged, a colt and filly by Zoustar have sold for $3million last year and $2.6million this year so this filly has a pedigree with the potential of a lot more to come.
