$350,000 for Sebring Filly

 In 2015

Golden Slipper winner Sebring was chosen as the partner for superstar sprinter Black Caviar in 2014 and he also holds appeal for her breeder Rick Jamieson, who paid $350,000 for one of his daughters at the Magic Millions on Thursday via bloodstock agent Dermot Farrington.

Sebring filly from Etoile Fille

Bred and consigned for sale by Moss Vale based nursery Manx Park, the stylish chestnut filly is stamped very strongly by her sire and is the third foal of Etoile Fille (NZ), a metropolitan winner by No Excuse Needed (GB).

Etoile Fille (NZ) is a daughter of Group III winner Starcent and half-sister to the dams of stakes-winners Strike the Stars and Delta Girl, who had a Fastnet Rock colt sell for $600,000 at Magic Millions on day one.

“This filly is exceptionally good looking, although to my eye a bit light on pedigree on her female side,” Dermot Farrington told Sky Racing.

“She’s for Rick Jamieson and he’s a better judge of a pedigree than me and he saw something there that he liked.”

The sire of Group I stars Criterion and Dissident, Sebring has a huge draft at this sale and is the most represented sire with other good results in the first two sessions for a filly from God Love It that made $300,000 and a colt from Exquisite Art that made $250,000.
