Zoustar Crowned Champion Australian Sire
He’s been working up to it for a few years now and our very own Zoustar has officially claimed the title of Champion Australian Sire for 2024/2025.
The best son of our much missed Northern Meteor, Zoustar was Champion First Season Sire in 2017/2018 and has gone forward in every single season since then.
He sired 198 winners of $26.3million highlighted by 15 stakes-winners with Group I winners Joliestar and Schwarz heading the list.

In the past 12months, Zoustar has also sired two Northern Hemisphere bred Group I winners in King of Gosford and Starlust as well as brilliant Group II winning sprinter Mgheera.
A global sire that was the world’s leading sire of winners in 2024, Zoustar stands at a fee of $275,000 this spring and among his stellar book of mares to be covered is Everest winner and $20million plus earner Bella Nipotina.
