A record-breaking renewal of the NZB Ready to Run Sale this week produced another huge sale ring result for champion sire Zoustar.

Prepared and offered by KB Bloodstock, the colt from Hijack Hussy achieved top honours for the sale when purchased by leading buyer Mr Yeung Kin Man for $825,000.

“Mr Yeung enjoys this Sale very much, because the first year we got two winners, and they have won nine races, which was a great result,” commented bloodstock agent Willie Leung.

“He was looking for another Zoustar. This one looks big and strong and is an early type, so it’s likely we will bring him to Hong Kong earlier.”

The colt breezed in 10.47 seconds and was a pinhook winner having been sourced from the Glenlogan Park draft at Inglis Easter for just $200,000.

He is a half-brother to two winners and is the fourth foal of stakes-winning Hussonet (USA) mare Hijack Hussy.

Glenogan Park will offer her yearling colt from the first crop of Jacquinot at Magic Millions 2026 as Lot 349 and the mare has foaled this spring producing a filly by Zoustar’s Group I winning son Ozzmosis.

Zoustar was the leading sire by average for the sale with three yearlings offered and all were sold at an average $431,667.
