Champion Zoustar Mare Confirmed for Waller Racing Everest Slot

Australia’s reigning champion sprinter Joliestar will get her third crack at an Everest next week with Chris Waller Racing announcing the six year-old Zoustar mare as their contender for this year’s race.

Seventh to Bella Nipotina in 2024 and fifth last year to Ka Ying Rising, Joliestar is in career best form this year with Group I wins at Randwick in the Canterbury Stakes and TJ Smith Stakes as well as her close third in the Group I King Charles Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.

Second first up in the Group II ATC The Shorts, Joliestar looked awesome with a comfortable fourth in the Randwick trial on Monday featuring Ninja and Ka Ying Rising.

With 10 wins and eight placings from 22 starts and $9.4million in the bank, Joliestar is the highest stake earner for her sire Zoustar.
