Strong Results at Inglis Easter
Widden Stud sold 22 yearlings for $4,115,000 at the 2015 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with our best result coming from a cracking colt by Sebring that fetched $650,000 to set a new benchmark for his sire.
The most expensive yearling ever sold by Sebring, the stunning colt from Group II placed Sayahailmary was snapped up by China Horse Club/ Michael Wallace Bloodstock.
Sayahailmary has a Stratum filly to follow and was covered again by Sebring last year.
The top selling filly for Sebring was a lovely miss from Crystal Fairy that made $400,000 for Amarina Farm when bought by Barnewsood Farm.
Stratum also enjoyed some highlights with his top seller a colt from Flamboyance that made $620,000 for Highgrove Stud when secured by James Harron Bloodstock.
The colt is a full brother to this season’s very smart juvenile Flamboyant Lass from the Gai Waterhouse stable and his dam is back in foal to Stratum.
Widden Stud also sold 11 youngsters for $1,055,000 in Session II to be the leading vendor by aggregate in that part of the sale.
