Posting his fifth win at Sha Tin on Saturday for the Tony Cruz stable was Lucky Owners gelding Lucky Omens, who has a half-sister heading to the 2015 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale for Widden Stud.
A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase from the draft of Widden Stud, Lucky Omens made it back to back wins at Sha Tin when carrying 60.5 kg to victory over 2000 metres.
A full brother to Group III placed King’s Pact, Lucky Omens is one of three winners from Princess Carnegie, a half-sister by Carnegie (IRE) to Group III winner Pillar of Hercules from the family of Golden Slipper winner and sire Catbird.
Widden will offer a filly by Sebring from Princess Carnegie at Inglis Easter as Lot 594.
