Million Dollar Mare for Sebring

Group I winning racemare Peggy Jean was one of the star attractions at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale with Widden Stud securing the daughter of Myboycharlie (IRE) for $1million.

“She’s just gorgeous,” Widden Stud’s Antony Thompson said. “She’s a mare that I think will breed a sale topper.

“She’s got a lovely deep pedigree and it’s there right on top as a Group One winning two-year-old.

“For mine she’s one of the mares of the sale and hopefully she’s a mare we can breed a Group I winner or champion from.”

“She’s a lovely mare for Sebring, so he looks the obvious choice and I think a Sebring out of Peggy Jean is something that every trainer around Australia would love to have in their stable.”
