The first progeny of Fastnet Rock’s Group I winning son Your Song were well received at the 2016 Magic Millions Yearling Sale with seven youngsters selling for upwards of $100,000.
17 of his offspring were sold in Book One at an average $95,441, his top seller a colt (pictured) from Siphon that made $170,000 for Edinglassie Stud when secured by Matthew Smith Racing.
Widden Stud enjoyed good results with colts from That’s Amore and Ceol Na Sraide (IRE) that both made $150,000 when purchased by OnTrack Thoroughbreds/ Laing Brothers Racing and Star Thoroughbreds.
Not far behind was a colt from De Puivert that made $140,000 for Newhaven Park when bought by Domeland Pty Ltd and a filly from Glogirl that made $140,000 for Newgate Farm when bought by Aquanita Racing.
Your Song has big representation at the 2016 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in Sydney next month with 21 yearlings on offer.
