Strong Demand for Sebring
With big numbers at the 2016 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, the stock of outstanding sire Sebring were in keen demand during the opening session on Wednesday selling for up to $460,000.
17 yearlings changed hands on Wednesday at an average $184,412, the top seller a colt from stakes-placed Fastnet Rock mare Fast Talker that fetched $460,000 for Widden Stud when snapped up by China Horse Club.
From the family of Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily, Fast Talker produced a lovely filly foal by Zoustar last year.
Other big results for Sebring on day one were colts from Dorf Command and Chordata that made $410,000 and $400,000 respectively for Three Bridges Thoroughbreds and Newgate Farm when secured by James Harron Bloodstock and Little Kwok Hung/Bahen Bloodstock.
