Sebring Sparkles at MM Broodmare Sale
Mares in foal to our flagship sire Sebring proved hot property at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale this week with 12 offered and all sold headed by show-stopping Polska, who made $1.6 million.
The dam of Group II winners Catch a Fire and Seaburge (both by Sebring) was consigned by Widden Stud and bought by Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock.
The dam of recent HK Group I winner Lucky Bubbles, Bubble Below was sold in foal to his sire Sebring for $700,000, while Redwood Dancer (IRE), the dam of Group III winner and Stradbroke contender The Virginian made $650,000 with her positive test to Sebring.
Widden Stud also sold young Fastnet Rock stakes-winner Royal Ocean for $550,000 to Spendthrift Australia in foal to Sebring.
Sebring has sired the winners of over $8 million this season including seven stakes-winners headed by Group I winning filly Egg Tart, who is favourite for the Group I BRC Queensland Oaks this Saturday.
