Your Song Winner Impresses at Gosford
Scoring an impressive win on returning from a spell at Gosford on Tuesday was Your Song three year-old Music Addition, who carried Segenhoe Thoroughbreds colours to victory.
The Peter Robl trained Music Addition won easily on debut at the same venue on June 1 and then chased home two nice horses at his next two runs in metropolitan company in Lipizzan and Addictive Nature.
Tuned up with two recent trial wins, he was fit and ready to go for the Class Two event over 1100 metres and kicked away to thrash the older horses by more than three lengths as a short priced favourite.
Music Addition was purchased by Segenhoe for $130,000 from the Attunga Stud draft at the Magic Millions 2YO Ready to Run Sale last year.
He was previously offered as a yearling at Inglis Easter Session II by the Vieira Group and fetched $55,000.
Music Addition is the first winner for Quality Coup, a winning daughter of Group I winner Love Dance.
He looks set to enjoy a good campaign over the summer months and could easily measure up to better races.
