Another Stakes Horse for Sebring
Melbourne – Golden Slipper winner Sebring didn’t get a winner on Saturday, but he did feature with another talented stakes performer in Kona Breeze, who finished a fine second to star filly Metastasio in the Listed MRC Chairmans Stakes at Caulfield.
The Peter Moody trained filly is well overdue for a win, having now had three starts for three second placings.
The third stakes horse for Sebring joining Dissident and Frill Seeking, Kona Breeze was a $120,000 purchase for Moody Racing from the Blandford Lodge draft at the NZB Premier Yearling Sale and is from the well-bred Red Ransom mare Whiffle (USA).
Sebring is the leading Australian first season sire by winners with six to his credit and has a big draft of 22 for the 2013 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne next month.
