All Time Legend Goes on Winning Way
Widden Stud’s Zoustar has had a hot run of late with over 30 winners in the past 30 days and one of the most promising of those winners is the Les Bridge trained gelding All Time Legend.
There was an early double for Zoustar at Randwick on Saturday with his four year-old daughter Zing winning the Benchmark 72 event over 1600m and in the next race we saw All Time Legend in full flight.
Having his second run back from a spell, All Time Legend went forward for Kerrin McEvoy and made all the running before kicking on to win the Benchmark 88 event over 1400m by half a length over interesting Godolphin entry Subedar.
Sidelined with a serious leg injury for more than a year, Subedar was having his first run since finishing fourth in the 2019 Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas and his pleasing return have promise of better things to come.
“He’s a lovely horse,” said Les Bridge.
“He’s only had seven runs, so I’m only just starting to scratch the surface of him.”
A $300,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Carmel Size Racing from the Woodside Park draft, All Time Legend runs for Bon Ho and was bred by Woodside Park. He is a full brother to smart metro winner Star Fall and is the second winner from Snow Bell (Fr), a stakes-winning daughter of Kendargent.
With five wins from seven starts and over $220,000 in prizemoney, four year-old All Time Legend looks to be a potential new stakes-winner in the making for Widden Stud’s champion sire Zoustar, who has 60 entries for Magic Millions 2021, click to see them here..
