Northern Meteor Colt Tops Scone Yearling Sale
Scone – Exciting young sire Northern Meteor has been running hot on the track in recent weeks so it was no surprise to see one of his offspring top the 2013 Inglis Scone Yearling Sale on Sunday.
A lovely chestnut colt from Sirenese took top honours when fetching $62,500 for Queensland based vendor Jorson Farm when secured by Paul Perry.
He is the second foal of a seven-time winning daughter of Belong to Me (USA) from the family of Group III winner and sire Handsome Ransom.
Sebring also figured, siring the third highest priced youngster when his filly from Dance Twig made $55,000 for Marquee Stud when purchased by Kim Waugh.
