$650,000 and $400,000 for Trapeze Artist Colts
The first yearlings by Trapeze Artist have continued to impress at Magic Millions with a couple of great sales on Friday with a colt from Viviette (IRE) selling for $650,000 and the half-brother to Magic Millions 2YO Classic runner Stupendo and stakes-winner Absolute Flirt selling for $400,000.
Consigned by Vinery Stud, the colt from Viviette was bought by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and was a successful pinhook as he was sourced from the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale from the Three Bridges draft for $330,000.
He is the first foal of the unraced daughter of Invincible Spirit, whose grand-dam is Champion Filly Park Appeal with the family producing Group I sires Cape Cross, Iffraaj and Diktat.
Group I trainer Danny O’Brien has had success with stakes-winner Absolute Flirt and exciting two year-old Stupendo, so he was always the logical buyer for their half-brother by Trapeze Artist from good producer Bisutti offered by Widden Stud.
Bisutti has another Trapeze Artist colt to follow and was covered last spring by Russian Camelot (IRE).
