Fee Set for Your Song
A brilliant five length winner of the WFA Group I BTC Cup, Your Song has been retired and will arrive at Widden Stud this week, his fee set at $22,000 inc GST.
A scintillating son of champion sire Fastnet Rock from a peerless international female family, Your Song retires with an overall record almost identical to another lightly raced, Gooree bred Group I winner in Northern Meteor.
Also retired to Widden Stud, Northern Meteor is now one of the hottest young sires in the country after posting a Group I quinella in the BRC JJ Atkins Stakes at the weekend.
Your Song is a magnificent individual, widely acclaimed as one of the best looking sons of Fastnet Rock, and Widden Stud’s Antony Thompson is looking forward to his arrival at the historic Widden Valley property.
“Your Song’s performance to blow away a genuine WFA field in the Group I BTC Cup will live in my mind for a long time and that combined with his pedigree and unbelievable good looks has him already proving popular amongst breeders,” he said.
“He is the most magnificent type you are likely to see and I can’t wait to show him to breeders.”
Your Song will be available for inspection at Widden on appointment.
