2YO Zoustar Filly Salutes for Cressfield
Bred and retained to race by Cressfield, talented two year-old Zoustar filly Spring Lee improved sharply at her second start to score a fast finishing win at Gosford on Thursday.
Trained by Bjorn Baker, Spring Lee was a close up seventh on debut in a strong juvenile race that featured quality I Am Invincible fillies Estriella and Sicilian, who won at Randwick on Wednesday.
She was allowed to settled just off the pace by Rachel King and unwound a good finish to charge home and beat race favourite Getty by a neck in the 1000m juvenile maiden.
