$200,000 Colts by Zousain and Written By Sell at MM 2YO’s in Training

The Magic Millions 2YO’s in Training Sale produced a couple of good sales for young Widden sires Zousain and Written By.

Consigned by Nolen Racing, a colt by Zousain from Erin’s Element galloped in 10.53 seconds and was snapped up by Hong Kong based Strike Thoroughbreds for $200,000 to be the equal third highest priced offering at the sale.

He was originally a $100,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase from Kambula Stud and is the third foal of stakes-placed Shaft mare Erin’s Element, a half-sister to stakes-winner Nosmo King.

Hancock Quality Bloodstock swooped on the JCS Thoroughbreds prepared Written By colt from Mandalong Sera, who galloped in 10.24 seconds and also sold for $200,000. He was also a successful pinhook bought for $62,500 from the Riverdene Stud draft at Magic Millions Book 2 and is the first foal of a winning half-sister by Sebring to the dam of stakes-winner Royal Rumble.
