Anders Yearlings Make Their Mark Selling for Up to $330,000
Widden Stud’s bargain priced Not a Single Doubt son Anders has been quietly making a very good impression at Magic Millions with eight yearlings selling so far at an average $216,250 off a $16,500 service fee and one of them, a colt from En Aval sold for $300,000 to the great delight of Widden Stud’s yearling manager Liam Attwood.
Attwood bred the colt with a few of his mates from a mare they purchased through an online Magic Millions sale for $9,500 and when the colt sold for $300,000 to the bid of Griffiths de Kock Racing/Peter Ford Thoroughbreds he was left speechless.
Liam Attwood is not only the Yearling Manager @widdenstud , but now also a successful breeder!

En Aval is a modest two time winner by Toorak Toff, but comes from a female family that has had a lot of success with Anders sire Not a Single Doubt to produce Group II winners Villa Verde and Doubtland, who stands at Widden Stud Victoria.
En Aval produced a colt by Supido last spring and is now back in foal to Anders, whose yearlings at the sale so far have sold for up to $330,000 with the highest priced being Little Avondale Stud’s filly from Candy Bar that was purchased by Star Thoroughbreds/ Randwick Bloodstock.
Anders has 16 more yearlings to sell through Books 1 and 2.
