Encouraging Premier Sales for Widden Young Guns

The Inglis Premier Yearling Sale featured yearlings by three Widden based first season sires in Anders, Doubtland and Russian Camelot (IRE) with their progeny selling for up to $170,000.

Anders had six yearlings average $111,667 with five of his six youngsters sold selling for $100,000 or more with the top seller at $140,000 a colt from Discerned that was consigned by Noor Elaine Farm and bought by Merrick Staunton.

Doubtland had the best result of the trio of young sires when his filly (pictured) from Baveno made $170,000 for Gilgai Farm when secured by Matthew Smith Racing / Randwick Bloodstock Agency. He had five yearlings in total average $90,000.

Russian Camelot had two yearlings sell in Book 1 with the best of them a colt from Vandancer that made $140,000 when bought by Dream Thoroughbreds / Bluegrass Bloodstock (FBAA) / Anthony Freedman Racing.
