First Stakes Horse for Written By

The Listed MRC Merson Cooper Stakes (1000m) at Caulfield on Saturday drew a competitive field and produced the first Black Type performer for our young sire Written By with Gangitano rattling home for third.

An $80,000 Inglis Classic purchase  for Dream Thoroughbreds / Bluegrass Bloodstock (FBAA) / Yargi Racing / Pink Race Series Ladies Horse Sy from the Newgate Farm draft, Gangitano will no doubt take great benefit from the run.

He is a half-brother to smart winning filly Wild Botanica and is from metro winning Foxwedge mare Colosimo.
