Fleeting Touch Stays Perfect

 In 2016

Just days after Widden Stud sold his three-quarter brother by Stratum at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale for $600,000, three year-old Redoute’s Choice gelding Intrusion saluted at Newcastle to give his dam Fleeting Touch (USA), the perfect record of four to race all winners.

A $600,000 Inglis Easter purchase himself, when purchased by David Raphael in 2014, the Gerald Ryan trained Intrusion had been placed several times previously and broke through to score by more than two lengths over 1350 metres.

A half-sister to Champion US 2YO Colt Midshipman and to the dam of current US Group I star Frosted, Fleeting Touch has done a fine job at stud with Group II winner Running Tall, Group I placed Sensibility and stakes-placed Ephemera her other winners.

She has no weanling having missed to Fastnet Rock in 2014, but will foal this spring to Snitzel.
