Slick Juvenile Brings Timely Update

Breaking the ice for her first win at Scone on Saturday was two year-old Haradasun filly Wigginout, whose yearling half-sister by Star Witness will be offered by Widden Stud at the 2014 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

Trained at Wyong by Allan Kehoe, Wigginout improved on a debut fourth and last start second to win the 1000 metre juvenile event by a length and a quarter.

A modest $6,500 Inglis Scone Yearling Sale purchase for her trainer from the draft of Widden Stud, Wigginout is the first foal of talented Fastnet Rock juvenile Pearl of the Sea, who was fourth in the Group I AJC Champagne Stakes.

Widden Stud will offer the Star Witness filly from Pearl of the Sea as Lot 344 at Inglis Classic and the mare has another Star Witness colt foal to follow.
