Widden Stud enjoyed great results at the 2018 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale selling 22 yearlings in Book 1 and 2 for $5,935,000.

Our top seller was the stunning I Am Invincible filly (pictured) from Group I winner Peggy Jean that made $750,000 when bought by Emirates Park / Bryan Carlson, the same buyers that purchased Golden Slipper winner Estijaab at the sale last year.

Widden Stud purchased Peggy Jean at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2016 for $1million when she was carrying this filly, so we were particularly thrilled with this result!

Sebring provided our two next best sellers with the first foal (gorgeous colt!) of Group I VRC Myer Classic winner Bonaria going to Shadwell for $700,000, while the half-sister to Group I ATC Australian Derby winner Levendi from Lipari made $500,000 to the bid of George Moore Bloodstock.

Sebring had 25 yearlings sell at an average $258,000, his best result our colt from Bonaria.

Returning to Widden this year after covering in Victoria last spring, Zoustar had nine yearlings average $173,333, his best result a colt from snow Belle that made $300,000 for Woodside Park when bought by Carmel Size Racing.
