Widden sires proved appealing at the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Victoria with a Sebring colt selling for $340,000 and a Stratum filly for $300,000.

Consigned for sale by Blue Gum Farm, the Sebring colt from Group II placed Viking Turf Belle was snapped up by McEvoy Mitchell Racing.

Not far behind was Vinery Stud’s Sebring colt from Here de Joy that made $300,000 when bought by Agile Thoroughbreds.

Sebring had 14 yearlings in total sell at an average $146,250.

Top seller for Stratum came from renowned Victorian breeders Gilgai Farm, who sold their filly from Savabeel’s Group II winner My Emotion for $300,000 to Inglis as agent, China.

She was the first living foal for My Emotion, who has a Sebring weanling filly to follow.

Gilgai Farm also sold the top seller for our exciting young sire Your Song, receiving $150,000 for the Your Song colt from Lisboa bought by Yenrise Pty Ltd.

Your Song also had colts from Leica Light and Celestial Babe sell for $120,000 and $115,000 to L Hung/ Bahen Bloodstock and Paul Moroney Bloodstock.
