Widden Stud Premier Success

The record breaking 2021 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale delivered great results for Widden Stud with Zoustar producing the highest priced filly of the entire sale and our own draft proving popular with 16 yearlings sold for $1,370,000.

Zoustar had 14 yearlings average $147,500 with his star performer the half-sister to stakes-winners Humma Humma and Tycoon Humma that sold for $600,000 to Redgum Racing.

The last crop of yearlings by Sebring were in hot demand with 21 averaging $116,429 and his best result coming with the filly from Shamalia that made $450,000 for Blue Gum Farm when bought by Rosemont Stud.

Set to move to Victoria later this year, Nicconi hit the mark with five yearlings averaging $90,000 and a lovely filly from Embark topping his list of youngsters when making $185,000 for Collingrove Stud when bought by McEvoy Mitchell / Belmont Bloodstock.

Star Witness also had some good sales with his best result $80,000 for a colt from Hidden Message consigned by Widden and snapped up by Bjorn Baker Racing / Clarke Bloodstock.

Widden Stud now look towards Inglis Easter where we will present a draft of 28.
