Zousain Keeps the Winners Coming
A full sister to Group winning filly Amelita, who sold for $800,000 at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale earlier this year, two year-old Zousain filly Jaipur Maison opened her account when scoring at Hawkesbury on Thursday.
The Chris Waller trained filly had race experience on her side taking on some well bred youngsters in the 1000m maiden and showed the benefit of that when surging up the fence for Siena Grima to score a long head win.

A homebred for Richard Pegum, Jaipur Maison was retained to race after passing in as a yearling and this was her first win in five starts having chased home the likes of Group I winner Fireball and exciting filly Bangkok Hottie in previous runs.
Jaipur Maison is a full sister to Group III VRC Red Roses Stakes winner Amelita and is the third foal and third winner from Miss Amelia, a winning More Than Ready (USA) daughter of freakishly good Group II STC Silver Slipper winner Amelia’s Dream.
She is the sixth winner in the past seven days for Zousain, who sets a brisk pace at the top of the third season sires table by winners with 88 on the board.
Zousain stands at Widden NSW at a fee of $22,000 this spring.
