Third Stakes-Winner for Sebring

 In 2013

Adelaide – Golden Slipper winner Sebring has hit a purple patch with two stakes-winners in two days, siring promising colt Criterion to win the Listed Black Opal Stakes in Canberra on Sunday and then brilliant filly Bring a Ring to win the Listed SAJC Sportingbet Stakes at Morphettville on Monday.

The Tony McEvoy trained Bring a Ring was resuming from a spell following an easy debut win at the same venue back in October.

She was ridden quietly back in the field by Matthew Neilson and produced an explosive late finish to surge through and win the 1050 metre dash by a couple of lengths from Sense of Hite with another Sebring filly Australia day running home for third.

Bring a Ring was a $70,000 Magic Millions purchase for McEvoy Mitchell from the Coolmore draft and is the best of three winners from stakes-winner Hennessy Waltz.

Bring a Ring is the third stakes-winner for Sebring joining Dissident and Criterion, the dual Group I winning son of More Than Ready (USA) leading the first season sires by individual winners and stakes-winners.
