$1million for Star Witness Mare Swift Witness

Standing for the affordable fee of $14,300 this spring, Star Witness made his presence felt at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale this week when his brilliant Group II winning daughter Swift Witness sold for $1million.

A powerhouse chestnut, Swift Witness was bought by her trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott from the Widden Stud draft at Magic Millions as a yearling for $260,000 and won the Group II ATC Silver Shadow Stakes and over $330,000 in prizemoney.

Offered by Glenesk Thoroughbreds (Randwick Bloodstock) on behalf of her owners, Swift Witness was bought for $1million by Dermot Farrington Bloodstock, UK.
