$430,000 for Trapeze Artist Filly
A record breaking Inglis Classic Yearling Sale is producing great results at Riverside Stables with Trapeze Artist producing the second highest priced filly of the sale on Monday.
Consigned by Vinery Stud, the filly from Group III winner Zelady’s Night Out was bought by Suman Hedge Bloodstock for $430,000.
He later Tweeted she was his number one pick of fillies at this sale.
She is the first foal of the half-sister to Group III winner Excites Zelady and importantly Comprende and I Am Zelady, two young daughters of I Am Invincible being bred to best sires.
Trapeze Artist has also had big results with Widden Stud’s filly from Bella Rossie selling for $260,000 to Star thoroughbreds/ Randwick Bloodstock and a colt from Chit Chat making $240,000 to the bid of Proven Thoroughbreds / O’Dea Hoysted Racing.
