$460,000 Colt Stars for Stratum

 In 2014

Proven Group I producing sire Stratum was again popular at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with seven yearlings averaging $192,143 in Session I.

Stratum had only one youngster passed in as vendors found plenty of admirers for his progeny.

His best result was for Kia Ora Stud, their strikingly marked bay colt from well bred import Isaure (IRE) fetching $460,000 when secured by George Moore Bloodstock.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club signed for a Stratum colt from Bellabaci (NZ) for $300,000, while leading buyers Shadwell Australasia bought a Stratum filly from Sky Risks (Fr) for $250,000 and a colt from stakes-winner Warpath for $130,000.
