First Win for Well Bred Sebring Filly
As a half-sister by Sebring to brilliant mare Mimi Lebrock, Loveitt would always have been expected to possess above average ability.
Prepared by Gai Waterhouse, who trained her sire Sebring, three year-old filly Loveitt cast off maiden status with a determined half neck win at Kembla on Sunday at her second start.
A $140,000 Magic Millions purchase for Gai Waterhouse/James Harron Bloodstock from the Fig Tree Thoroughbreds draft, Loveitt runs for many of Sebring’s original group of owners.
She is the fourth winner from four foals to race from God Love It, whose best offspring Mimi Lebrock won the Magic Millions 2YO Classic and Group II MRC Tristarc Stakes earning over $1.1 million in prizemoney.
Fig Tree Thoroughbreds will offer the current yearling from God Love It, another lovely filly by Sebring, at the 2015 Magic Millions as Lot 286.
