Sebring 3YO Wins by Seven
Peter Moody is developing quite an affinity with the progeny of our young sire Sebring and would be happy with this promising three year-old who bolted in by seven lengths at Yarra Valley on Friday.
Resuming from a spell following a debut fourth back in May, three year-old gelding Wild Fire gave Linda Meech a trouble free ride in cruising straight to the lead and never looking back.
Wild Fire ambled along as he pleased and had all his rivals off the bit turning for home, letting down under hands and heels riding to win in the manner of a horse going places.
A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase from Erinvale Thoroughbres for Triple Crown Syndications, Wild Fire is yet another winner for Sebring trained by Moody joining the likes of Dissident, Kiss a Rose, Stamina and Noela’s Choice, not to mention stakes-placed Kona Breeze.
Wild Fire is a half-brother to stakes-placed All Sewn Up and is the first winner for Rory’s Jester mare Seamstress, a sister to slick stakes-winners Seidnazar and Real Jester.
Sebring has had a string of recent winners in December and is the most represented sire at Magic Millions with 40 lots on offer.
