Pleasing Weanling Sale Results for Written By

The Inglis Australian Weanling Sale on Thursday at Riverside Stables featured the first offspring of Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Written By and they were well received with all six being sold for up to $70,000.

Willow Park Stud consigned his top seller on behalf of Aquis Farm, a colt from metro winning Foxwedge mare Colosimo that was bought by Binalong Bloodstock for $70,000.

Not far behind was a filly from Blue Ocean offered by Valiant Stud as agent for Aquis Farm that was bought by South Australian based Kambula Stud for $60,000.

Torryburn Stud also had a good sale with a filly from Suziqueue that made $52,000 when bought by Alexia Fraser Bloodstock / Kestrel Bloodstock.

A Group I winning 2YO by champion sire Written Tycoon, Written By stands at a fee of $24,750 this spring.
