Debut Winner for Nicconi

Leading country trainer Brett Cavanough produced a smart winner at Wagga on Friday when two year-old Nicconi filly Loved Up powered clear to win in good style.

Sent out favourite, she stormed home from back in the field to win the 1050 metre dash by more than a length in encouraging performance.

Passed in at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale last year by Lustre Lodge, Loved Up is a half-sister to stakes-winner Liesele from Group II placed Love’s Here.

Loved Up is the third winner for dual Group I winning sprinter Nicconi, who has three entries for Inglis Easter.
