Anders 2YO Wins G3 David Coles
Widden Stud’s bargain priced sire Anders posted his third stakes-winner in Adelaide on Saturday when Brave Hustler kept his unbeaten record intact to win the Group III SAJC David Coles AM Stakes (1200m) at Morphettville.
Trained by Shane & Cassie Oxlade, Brave Hustler scored a debut win at Murray Bridge last month and given a positive ride by Lauren Stojakovic, he made a smooth transition to stakes company.
Brave Hustler led for home and gave a great kick to win by a length and a half and has banked nearly $100,000 from his first two starts

A modest $5,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase from Pepper Tree Farm for part-owner Francesco Sghirripa, Brave Hustler has proven a natural runner with a bright future.
He is the first foal of Night Hussler, a winning half-sister by Reliable Man (GB) to Group III winner Night Watch and grand-daughter of Group I winner Penny Gem.
Brave Hustler is the third stakes-winner this season for Anders, who stands at Widden NSW at a fee of $9,900.
