Brilliant Group Two Winner for Nicconi
Former brilliant sprinter Nicconi added a second Group II winner to his tally when improving sprinter Nicoscene powered home from back in the field to score an explosive win in the Group II SAJC William Hill Stakes at Morphettville on Saturday.
Prepared by Lee and Anthony Freedman, Nicoscene hadn’t missed a place in four previous runs this preparation and was rewarded for his efforts with this well-deserved win.

Nicoscene was a successful pinhook for Musk Creek, who purchased him at the Inglis Weanling Sale from the draft of Sefton Park Stud for $23,000.
Bred by Etak Thoroughbreds, Nicoscene is one of three winners from Citiscene, a half-sister by Snippets to South African Group III winner Royalsecuritybaby from the family of Group I AJC Australian Oaks winner Savana City.
Nicoscene is the second stakes-winner for Nicconi joining Chill Party and is one of 33 Australian winners for him this season.
