Classic Success for Widden Stud
The 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale proved a resounding success for Widden Stud with 22 yearlings selling for $1,347,500.
Our best result came with a Star Witness colt (pictured)from Boldina that made $150,000 to the bid of Glenvallen Investments, while not far behind was a Dundeel filly from Can’t Hackit that made $110,000 when bought by David Pfieffer Racing.

Our flagship sire Sebring made his mark at Inglis Classic with colts from Top of the Rock and Foible fetching $250,000 and $200,000, while Star Witness had a great result with the filly from Coffee Shop (USA) selling for $200,000.
With big numbers at this sale, Star Witness had 16 yearlings average $73,750 and his progeny have been bought by all the savvy judges.
Zoustar has a sensational draft of 26 for the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and broke the ice at Newmarket with a lovely colt from Cautious that made $160,000 for Segenhoe Stud when bought by J Casse / Muskoka Nominees.
