Trapeze Artist is riding high as the leading second crop sire by earnings and winners with an exciting new winner at Cranbourne on Friday in the shape of Trapeze Warrior, who was an $850,000 Magic Millions purchase and is his highest priced yearling to date.
Trained by Phillip Stokes, Trapeze Warrior was sent out favourite for the 1200m maiden and looked powerful to the line as he raced clear to win by more than two lengths running away.

Trapeze Warrior was bred by Mill Park in partnership and offered by them at the Gold Coast where he was snapped up by his trainer Phillip Stokes and runs for an ownership group that includes his breeders.
He is a half-brother to Group III placed Written Swoosh and is the second winner from Cocoa Doll, a metro winning half-sister by More Than Ready (USA) to Champion 2YO Filly and multiple Group winning $3.7million earner Away Game and stakes-winner Modern Wonder.
Mill Park sold a Snitzel colt from Cocoa Doll at Magic Millions this year for $950,000 to Rosemont Alliance/Suman Hedge Bstock/Julian Blaxland Bstock/Anthony Freedman Racing/ARJB Racing and he has been named Fitzpatrick. Cocoa Doll has a yearling filly by Zoustar and produced a Home Affairs filly in October.
Trapeze Warrior is the 21st winner of the season for Widden Stud’s exciting young sire Trapeze Artist, who has 21 entries for Magic Millions.
