Dissident Crowned HTBA Horse of the Year
Sebring’s champion son Dissident took the top prize at the annual HTBA Awards night in Scone on Wednesday when crowned HTBA Horse of the Year.
Bred and offered for sale by Widden, Dissident fetched $210,000 at Magic Millions when secured by Peter Moody, who transformed the precocious juvenile stakes-winner into a Classic winner at three and then the best weight-for-age galloper in the country at four.
We congratulate all the connections of Dissident, who is now retired with five Group I wins and $2.1 million in prizemoney.
